Christianity is a unique religion. I believe that when God sat down to plan out how things would go that He decided in his blue print that he would make the way to Him specifically designed for young people(not nesecarrily young in chronological years). I am not sure the exact numbers but there is a statistic that shows that most people come to the Lord at an early age and once they pass their teen years and go off to collage the chances of them making a commitment to the Lord dramatically drops. I believe this may be one of the many reasons why God decided to christianity designed for young people. Do not get me wrong I am not saying that Christianity is not for everyone because it certainly is and I firmly believe that all people need a relationship with Jesus Christ in order to have a complete and fulfilling life. However there are things that stand out to me that would seem as though God purposely meant Christianity to be appealing to teenagers and young people. The first things I notice are the scripture references. For instance 1Timothy 4:12, also the verse where Jesus says "let the little children come to me" and have childlike faith. But what stands out even more than that are the stories in the Bible of the real life young people that made such a great influence and difference. Those who fall into this category are; David, Timothy, Stephen, Daniel, Samuel, Jeremiah, Rack, Shack, and Benny. The youth are the heart of the church when the youth get excited the rest of the congregation gets excited when the youth start to be passionate about their faith then it is definitely noticed by the rest of the church. It has been said that the youth are the future church make sure you train them well; this is true to a degree, but I say the youth are the present church rather than the future church. The youth are the church NOW! Let us not disqualify them today because of their age or lack of income. The third and final reason I believe Christianity is for young people is the attributes it takes to live for Christ and the attributes that adults view that most teens have. I went in to a chat room one or two years ago to discuss with the adults in the room what they thought about the youth of today the following list is the responses I got paralleled with some ideas and bible verses to prove my point.

• Good ....................... Gal. 5:22

As you can see from the stories and verses in the bible along with the list of attributes you either have to be young or young at heart to make it as a Christian. But isnt that what Jesus was saying all along? 

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
